We’ve been following the saga of Jovi Dufren and now wife Yara Zaya Dufren both on the show and on social media, and a lot of fans are saying the same thing. They believe that Yara just wants a way out of her marriage so that she can move back to Europe and be with her Mom.
Of course, Yara also has another reason to want to move back to Europe, originally she was from Ukraine and as we all know Russia has decided to invade the place and put everyone in jeopardy. at first everyone was sympathetic to Yara because if your home country is being invaded, of course you want to do all you can to help the people involved and if that means going back and getting involved that is just what that means.

But, at least on the surface, it looks like Yara really hasn’t done any sort of volunteer work on the ground and everything that she has done could have been done remotely. Granted, she has a child and no young Mom with a months old child is going to walk into a war zone and risk potentially leaving the ass t child behind, but people within the fandom are saying that Yara could have done more to help her people if she’s all that committed to doing charity work for Ukraine.
However, even if Yara were volunteering at Ukrainian soup kitchens every day, would that really be enough? Sure, it would be great for publicity but realistically what can Yara really do on an individual level? She can raise awareness and she can donate money and time to the cause but can she really help “save” Ukraine? Not by herself.
She has helped the people that she knows back in Ukraine, like one of her friends and she is trying to help her Mom find an apartment in Prague but by herself, Yara is only one person. Still, it seems a little suspicious that Yara would want to get an apartment in Europe now while Jovi is off working and only half consulted him on that decision. Does she want out of her marriage? We’ll say probably. Will she get out? We don’t know yet. Stay tuned!!!
