Tim Allen just finished paying Jay Leno a visit in the hospital. and he claims the severe burns sustained in a car fire won’t disfigure his close friend’s face. On his way out, Tim spoke with the photographers after seeing Jay on Thursday at the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California. Jay claims to be feeling better despite having deep burns on his chest, hands, and face.
Jay appears to be in good spirits while receiving burn treatment in a hyperbaric chamber at the hospital. Jay, according to Tim, was joyful and they joked around. Hey, they say that the best medicine is laughter. In his Burbank garage, Jay was repairing a clogged fuel line on his 1907 White Steam Car when a car exploded into flames over the weekend. Jay isn’t afraid of cars despite the incident. Tim claims to have given JL some auto magazines to peruse while getting better.

Tim was also in good spirits, which probably says a lot about Jay’s situation. Tim joked that when all was said and done, his friend would resemble George Clooney. It is good to hear that Leno is doing well and will not have any disfiguration or too much damage to his face after the burn!
After a scary moment, Jay is coming out on top and we’re glad to hear Allen talk about his friend in such a high light! We look forward to hearing from Jay himself and seeing what the next part of his life brings! Thank goodness there isn’t much damage and we hope he is resting well.
