1000-Lb Sisters fans were very excited to see that Tammy Slaton has gotten engaged to be married and has had gastric bypass surgery. This is all happening very quickly for her and it was pretty surprising to see. Now that all of these changes have happened, there are rumor circulating that there will be at least two more seasons of the show.

It looks as if the cameras have been following Tammy around in the rehab center and they have been keeping up with her weight loss progress. There is one family member, though, that may not have anything to do with the show any longer.

1000-Lb Sisters: Who’s Not Coming Back

Even though TLC has yet to make an announcement about any new seasons, Tammy has been hinting that there will be at least two more. Her sister, Amy Slaton, has already told her fans that if there is another season of the show, she will have to take a backseat on it.

She has two children now and being a mother is a full-time job for her now. Even when they were still filming the last season, she had just had Gage and filming the show made her feel like a bad mother. She hasn’t been in the spotlight as much as last season and that is fine with her.

Amy is having more of a hard time now that she has two children. Her husband, Michael Halterman works full-time to help support their family and Amy hasn’t been able to work for years. She has multiple disabilities that have kept her from doing so, but she enjoys being at home with her boys. She always wanted a family and her dreams of having one have come true. Her main focus is on her kids no matter what.

The cameras have been following Tammy around at rehab and this could be a show all on its own and this is more than likely what it will become. Will TLC change the title if Amy is not in the show?

It would only make sense, but nonetheless, Tammy is thinking about a lot of things right now and one is writing a book about her life as well. She wants it to be all about her journey in a very positive way so that she can help others get through the same struggles that she did.

We will continue to keep an eye on Tammy and Amy to see when we will see them next on 1000-Lb Sisters.
