Fans of the TLC show, 1000-Lb Sisters, feel that Tammy Slatton should be fired from the show because of her overall attitude and lack of motivation to lose weight. She has caused quite a bit of controversy since the show began and fans of the show feel that she is very self-destructive. Many viewers have called her out for not wanting to lose weight and she has yet to listen to any of her doctors.
This show is all about her weight loss journey, yet she hasn’t tried at all. She ended up checking herself out of weight loss rehab because she lost over 100 pounds, but if she was really trying, she would have stayed. Many fans feel that TLC may be ready to fire her from the show.

When the show came out, we were all expecting Tammy to lose a lot of weight when the show began. With all TLC weight loss shows, that is the ultimate goal. Why would you be on a show about your weight and not even try to lose it?

Part of the show is that she and her sister made an agreement to lose weight and prioritize their health. Tammy has yet to do this, in fact, she is still drinking and vaping, which her doctors have asked her to stop doing or she will die in the next five years. Why does she not listen?
In the last season of the show, she ended up in ICU in a coma because of her health and this didn’t even change her ways. If you almost died, why would you continue to keep your diet the way it is? If this wasn’t a sign that she needed to make some changes, will she ever?
TLC has yet to comment on another season of the show and many fans think that she shouldn’t be asked back onto the show. One Reddit user wrote, “Tammy won’t be asked back for Season four. Her storyline is all but dead.”
Another added, “Isn’t the real reason these two have a show to lose weight? They haven’t lost any weight. Why are we still watching this show?” It is clear that fans of the show are getting bored of it and if the ratings drop, it looks like TLC may have some issues with keeping it on the network.
