According to reports, multiple lawsuits have been filed following the tragedy at Travis Scott‘s Astroworld concert last year. Live Nation has settled a lawsuit stemming from the disastrous concert. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans can recall, a surge of rap music fans pushing toward the stage during the festival in Houston killed 10 people, while many more were injured as panic rippled through the packed crowd. Nine-year-old Ezra Blount was the last and youngest victim to have died.

Family members of victim Axel Acosta was one of many to sue the rapper and entertainment company Live Nation. Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represented the family, confirmed to TMZ they settled out of court.

Terms of the settlement remain confidential, but Buzbee says the family wants people to remember Axel as a “beloved son, brother and student” who will be “greatly missed.” Per the publication, sources close to Scott have clarified the settlement was with Live Nation.

“No member of Travis Scott’s team has been involved in any Astroworld settlement discussions,” they said.

Ten people were killed when fans surged toward the stage during a performance by Scott, who was headlining the two-day music festival in Houston, Texas on November 5. Travis told Charlamagne Tha God on his YouTube channel: “It was not until minutes until the press conference (after the show) until I figured out exactly what happened.

“Even after the show you are just hearing things but I did not know the exact details. Houston Fire Chief Sam Pena says that when people in the audience passed out from suffocating, others panicked, and the situation became even worse. One woman climbed onto a platform where a camera operator was and told him that people were being crushed and were dying and that the show needed to stop.

“And even at that moment you’re like, ‘Wait, what?’ People pass out, things happen at concerts, but something like that…” Scott also said he had been on an “emotional rollercoaster” since the incident.
