‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that at least initially, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) may fake date Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Here’s what Y&R fans can anticipate if Ashley is hired to gather information about Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) takedown.
The main reason for Tucker’s return to Genoa City is to catch Ashley’s attention once more and atone for his previous transgressions. Tucker will be aware that he has much to atone for, but he will hope Ashley will be open to hearing him out and giving him a chance to demonstrate his sincere penitence.

Ashley might even need to ask Tucker out on a few dates in order to learn more about his relationship with Diane. If Tucker wants to have any chance of having a future with Diane, Ashley might pressure him to sell her out.
Tucker can be quite charming when he wants to be, so Ashley might be putting herself in danger. When Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) confronts Ashley, he will undoubtedly wonder what Ashley thinks she is doing.
Jack will display his typical protective sibling behavior as he worries that Tucker will once again break Ashley’s heart. He won’t be aware of the specifics of Ashley’s scheme involving Phyllis and Nikki, so he might be perplexed as to why Ashley is feeding Tucker’s obsession rather than putting an end to it.
Ashley will hear Tucker’s vow and may want to think he really does mean everything he says. It will be interesting to see what transpires once Grandpa Tucker develops a relationship with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor because he might have an impact on Ashley as well (Rainn and River Ware). Even though Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) intends to schedule a Dom visit, Abby does not want Tucker around her son. This plan with Phyllis and Nikki could be risky because Tucker might appear to be a devoted family man and appeal to Ashley’s emotions!
