Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we’ll finally learn the truth about Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) murder. We’ll also see Jennifer Horton’s (Cady McClain) situation get worse. Let’s talk about the preview and what we think of all this.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The reveal
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate we saw a little bit of what happened with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) when Clyde Weston (James Read) had to go to the hospital for a random drug test. As he looked into Sonny’s room, we saw Clyde coming up behind Sonny at Titan. Plus, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) learned Clyde actually wears a cologne that smells like vanilla, not Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). The weekly goes deeper.

In it, we see Abigail wondering what Clyde is doing at the mansion. This leads to a struggle where Abigail is stabbed. We’re not sure what to make of all us, given what we knew so far. But we do know that Chad’s going to take drastic action to avenge his wife.
There are clips in the promo of Clyde and Chad struggling before Clyde manages to get the advantage. Given Chad’s supposed to get an assist from perhaps the most unlikely helper, we can safely assume Chad will get out of this.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Disaster ahead
Elsewhere, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we’ll see Jennifer’s addiction get worse. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will learn she’s been popping pills and discuss this with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). How is he going to learn this? Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). We have to give her props for doing the right thing when she could’ve just let Jennifer dig herself in deeper.
It shows she really does care for Jack and wants to help. But this may not be enough. In the preview, Jennifer is behind the wheel, and if you saw the Fall Preview, you know this doesn’t end very well. Someone is going to get hurt. We’re just still hoping Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will be okay. We love the character and want to see her get things back on track.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Problems
Which leads to our issues. One, we can’t with the idea Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) missed the problem with that footage that initially cleared Clyde. Two, we really want a good reason why he would do this. Things between him and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) seemed settled. Plus, we thought Clyde really was trying to be better and we hate how so many characters on the verge of redemption end up going down the wrong path again.
Four, we thought it was clear Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) saw or heard the attack with the way he looked in that first post-murder scene. So how did he not recognize Clyde or his voice? These are some of the things we hope they address when all’s revealed. Because right now it looks like we’ve got a rushed and sloppy story.
