‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that many fans are excited to see Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) in Genoa City again because he will bring some fresh dynamics to the show. But who is Daniel really?
Although many of us are aware that he is Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) son, he hasn’t visited the area since 2016; why is he returning, and what has happened to him before? It turns out that he, like the other characters, has a crazy past.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: A Quick Reminder Of Who Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) Is And His Past In Genoa City
While Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) was in New York, Phyllis followed him. She forced him into her bed, drugged him, and then faked being pregnant. To have the child, Danny married Phyllis. Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s birth, however, Danny and Phyllis divorced shortly after. Danny remarried Phyllis after Daniel the baby became ill. The family was happy until Danny realized he wasn’t the baby’s father.
After divorcing Phyllis, he was granted sole custody of the young child, whom he continued to consider his son. He took Daniel with him to Europe. Daniel returned as a teenager in 2003. He was shocked to discover the truth when he was reunited with his mother because he thought she had abandoned him. He and Phyllis shared an apartment to get closer. 14-year-old Cassie Newman, who had feelings for the older Daniel, decided to go to a clandestine party because Daniel was. Daniel was drunk when Cassie arrived because he missed Lily, from whom he was estranged.
Cassie decided he was too drunk to drive home but hadn’t learned her lesson, so she took his keys and started the car. They were involved in a car crash. They both hit their heads and couldn’t remember what happened, so everyone assumed Daniel was driving. He has been involved in a lot more, such as a relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but before that, he and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) plotted a fictitious attack so Daniel could intervene and save Lily. Despite the fact that Lily almost lost her life during the incident, she continued to fall for him and the two eventually got married!
Naturally, it has been a while since they were together, and now that he is returning to town, many people are wondering if he will once again catch Lily’s attention.
