‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) enemies are determined to do anything to get rid of her. Even though they are in the wrong, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are not going to give up after the journalist said there would be no more articles about Diane.
Although Diane has done some terrible things in the past, who among them hasn’t? They seem to have forgotten about their very own histories. It’s sickening to watch because this is the worst instance of “pot calling the kettle black.” They are willing to drown with the ship because they have literally lost their minds and grown obsessed with Diane.

At first, we all thought Diane was up to something and were suspicious of her, but now we all realize that she is genuinely trying to make amends with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), her son, and mend her ways. There are times when she seems like she might stumble, but in all honesty, it appears that she has improved.
Nikki and Phyllis simply cannot stand it as she continues to demonstrate that she is the only one who has changed, and perhaps the reason they are even angrier with her is that Diane is holding up a mirror to their faces and forcing them to acknowledge that she may have grown up while they are unable to do so.
Let’s not forget that Nikki isn’t perfect either; can you imagine if a major editorial revealed that she once performed as a stripper? I can’t imagine that going over well with her. They have no idea what they’re doing and are acting solely on instinct rather than carefully considering any of this. They will eventually be forced to deal with this because it will bite them in the rear.
