CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close out the week in style, and what better way than a family being pulled in two different directions?

There’s a cross roads in Genoa City, and it’s sitting right in the middle of the Newman family. The choice is pretty simple — stand by and follow Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s lead to prison, and come clean and deal with whatever consequences come their way like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wants to do.

Let’s take a peek at what to expect.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Protecting his precious

Victor’s intent on making sure his secret remains just that, but things have become exponentially more complicated thanks to the family now having to protect him.

Of course, had his pride and ego not forced him to control everything they wouldn’t be in this situation, but that’s a lesson he won’t ever learn.

So, he’s going to continue keeping silent and urging the family to do so since they’re on the verge of being found out.

There’s little chance anything substantial will happen legal wise since Victor will never go to jail for more than a short term, so at this point it feels more like going through the motions.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick’s choice

One of the reasons for Victor not going to prison besides the writers not having the guts to go that angle is Nick will probably take the blame.

Since he’s the one the punched Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and caused him to hit his head, he’ll be getting closer to turning himself in and deal with any legal issues that come up.

Had it not been for Victor, it would probably already be over and Nick would be free after a self defense argument, but now someone’s going to have to pay for Victor’s sins.

That’ll be going through Nick’s mind as he debate whether or not to come clean with the police, but ‘Young and the Restless’ suspect he’ll be talked out of it by a family member or Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

No one will want to see him risk jailtime, but then maybe his coming forward will force Victor to own up to his actions for once?

Do you think Nick will come forward? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
