Nothing like the past to help bring doubts into the present, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to have some fun with this episode.
It’s not so much a character-building episode as it seems a rediscovering one, and rediscovering can come in all sorts of ways.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 18: Is Billy all in?
This is going to be an interesting scene as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has rediscovered himself to a degree, though he’s still working out exactly what he wants or needs.
Because he’ll seem listless to her, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will approach him about how committed he is to Chancellor-Winters.
She’s struggling to keep it all together, and she’ll need his support and he’ll know this. ‘Young and the Restless’ think he’ll be honest with her about taking the podcast as far as he thinks he could, but that doesn’t mean he’ll bail on her.
He’ll stick around and support her in every way possible while looking for that something that’s missing. She’ll have misgivings, but he’ll insist he can handle both so she won’t worry.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 18: Revisiting the past
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are going to have an interesting exchange.
We don’t think there will be much animosity between them as neither one are ready or willing to get into an argument, so instead, they’ll look at their love lives and the mistakes they’ve made.
Victoria won’t have any further to look than the recent debacle with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), while Chelsea will share her experiences with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
We have a feeling some seeds will be planted as they’ll both circle back to Billy and create an interesting love triangle of sorts between them and Lily to vie for his affections.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 18: Abby walks in on Chance again
We can’t have a rehashing of old storylines without having Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) find Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) working on his current case once again.
This will quickly turn into another back and forth between them as Abby will want to make sure Chance feels he’s doing the right thing while Chance will be concerned about causing problems between Abby and her family.
It’ll be a good scene between them, and we really hope Abby doesn’t fall for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s manipulations and Chance can brush off Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s threats.
