In the world of entertainment, there have been plenty of scandals that have taken us all by surprise. One of these is with Ezra Miller. Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, has been a part of a lot of controversy in the past couple of years.
Miller has made quite a name starring as the Flash in the DC movies and has made the franchise a lot of money. Now there are experts weighing in on the fact that Warner Bros. may not know what to do about the scandals that Miller is now wrapped up in.
Entertainment: An Expert Speaks Out
The newest DC movie featuring Miller has already been filmed and has already cost the company $200 million so far. The Flash movie has been postponed a few times and now is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 23, 2023. There is a lot more to it than most of us know though. With Miller in legal trouble, Warner Bros. isn’t quite sure if they should release the film because of the effects that may come from it.
Entertainment: Ezra Miller Scandal Continues Leaving Warner Bros. Playing the Waiting Game
Gary Rosen, who is a PR expert, told People Magazine, “It’s a huge investment, and the last thing Warner Bros. wants to do is have this movie go away. For this to go on the shelf would be an enormous loss. I would think they want this movie to come out. And since it’s not scheduled to come out until June 2023, there’s time.”
Rosen then went on to say, “If I were advising Ezra, I’d say to keep a very low profile. What you want is for this story and the negative attention on it to go away so that hopefully by the time this movie is ready to premiere, everyone will have forgotten about all of this bad stuff. As the Flash says, though, there are some things you can outrun, but some things always manage to catch up to you.”
From Rosen’s perspective, Warner Bros. is “playing wait-and-see” with the movie. They don’t want to make any quick decisions and they are holding tight. The possible release is about 10 months away and Miller could do a lot more during that time. Miller could also change everything that they have done and lay low. We just never know what they will do at this point. It looks as if Warner Bros. will be ready to release the film next year unless something tragic were to happen.
Miller had yet another run-in with the law this past weekend. They were charged with felony burglary in Vermont in a home that was unoccupied. There were alcohol bottles all over the home. Miller has been asked to attend a court hearing in September.
