Nene, for her part, has accused the network of fostering an environment that had allowed racism to occur during her time on the franchise. And as part of that process, Nene stressed that fellow housewife at the time, Kim Zolciak-Biermann had made racist comments.
While that may have been the case, it appears that Nene’s concerns were not addressed. That is why the lawsuit claimed the following: “NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged.”
It is not surprising then that Nene has had a lot to say about the network in the aftermath. This is particularly true since there has not been an admission made by them, which can only suggest one of two things.
First of all, the network denies doing anything wrong, and therefore, Nene has no grounds to stand on. Secondly, there could be the possibility that the network will try to fight to the end in order to prevent its reputation being damaged.
Regardless of what the case may be, one thing for sure is that Nene is not going to tolerate it any longer. And she did not hold back on her condemnation for the network. In her comments, she said: “They want to break you! Most abuse takes place behind closed doors (hint: this is why you don’t know or see everything).
“In the surface it looks fine right.” The fans on social media were behind Nene. And they came out to offer their words of support in her battle going forward. One person wrote: “What ever ur going through. Just know ur voice is heard. Ur a strong, beautiful, black woman.”
