‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal a shocking death happened in the year Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) missed. This was revealed on Monday, November 11th. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Short run
The dead Salem resident (well, one of them anyway) is Haley Chen. In a touching scene, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) is alone in one of the employee rooms at the hospital. He’s grateful his mother has woken from her coma, but there’s one person who can’t come back to him. This is when the camera moves up to show a memorial to Haley on the wall. It’s a tragic ending for a troubled pairing. They faced lots of obstacles, including a plan to flee the country, to be together. So, what happened?
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Mysterious situation
There are no concrete details to explain Haley’s demise. Considering this is Salem, anything is possible. However, there may be a couple of clues in this episode.
One clue comes during a Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) prison scene. He’s speaking with a mystery cellmate that’s revealed to be Will Horton (Chandler Massey). It makes us wonder if Will is somehow responsible for Haley’s demise. We honestly can’t think of another reason for him to be behind bars. He know he made some tragic choice that killed another character, but did Haley get caught up in it, too?

The other clue comes when Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are talking about the night her baby was born. Sarah describes it as a horrible night, something that one wouldn’t normally associate with bringing a baby she’s so obviously in love with into the world. Could it be that Haley died that same night, and it was Will’s fault? It would make sense for that to affect her that way. She not only lived in Casa Kiriakis with Will for a time, she also worked with Haley at the hospital.

Rumors suggested that JJ Deveraux would become an addict in future Salem. Looks like that was legit, because we saw JJ down some pills before visiting Jennifer, who’d just woken up. Even before taking the pills, he looked like he’d been suffering. It looks like he might still have his job, as the room with Haley’s picture seemed like an employee area. However, he’s clearly on the edge after the strain of his loss and his mother’s situation. We can expect this situation to only get worse as the days and weeks go by. Can we overcome his demons, or will he end up another Salem casualty? We’ll have to wait and see.
