‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that star Stephen Nichols (Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson) is such a popular actor and character on the hit NBC soap, that you would think producers would bring him on more often. At least that’s what his fans would love to see!

As a matter of fact, it seems as though there are plenty of Stephen’s ‘Days of Our Lives’ co-stars who would love for him to stick around in Salem a little bit longer this time. Actor Matthew Ashford, who plays Jack Deveraux on the hit CBS soap, recently put it this way to Soaps in Depth, “He is still the same Stephen. He looks great! And he is in better shape than I am. His sense of humor is still there and, of course, the way he plays with Mary Beth. He’s playing all sort of other people yet you kind of don’t realize, ‘Oh my gosh. Here we are 30 years later.’ That’s just a blessing that not everybody gets to experience. Getting to work on the same stage and next to Stephen and Mary Beth and Missy, all at the same time, it is kind of like a second chance, in away. It’s nice. Stephen coming back, as you would expect, that’s just the cherry on top of the Sunday.”

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Patch Here To Stay?
And it looks like Stephen Nichols’s other co-star Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) agrees. She added in the same interview, “Days of Our Lives never seems to be the same when Stephen Nichols is not there. I always think he brings something so interesting and different to the show. He always gives 110 percent and I am always in awe of his hard work and discipline. He inspires me and others to up our game. I am so happy to have him back where he belongs.”
With that said, there is a very good chance that we might be seeing more of Stephen Nichols as Patch on the canvas in the coming weeks. At least, that’s what our hope is as we have our fingers crossed! Fans will get to see Stephen back in action beginning the November 27th episode.
