Is this any way to live? Many fans of the show are questioning if it is healthy for the Plaths to keep their children from socializing with others.

Is it a good choice to shelter children? The outside world seems to alien to the children and we are beginning to think that it is not healthy for them. The oldest brother, Ethan, is now married and has had a lot of trouble adjusting to what life is really like outside of his parent’s farm. He and his wife, Olivia, have started to bring some unwanted drama to the family because of Olivia’s view on the world and the Plath’s parenting skills.
Many viewers said that the Plath parents may have had bad lives growing up, but controlling the children is not the best way to repair the past. They are not letting the children have the experiences of the world and that is what makes us who we are. The children are also home-schooled and that can cause problems with them learning to adjust as well.
Although, the show just appeared on Tuesday, we can already see that watchers are going to be up in arms after each episode. We are still curious how it is a problem that the children watch television, but now they are part of a television show. How does that work? No wonder Olivia has her own opinions on the family and now we can watch the six part series on Tuesdays to see just what she wants to tell Ethan’s parents about their parenting skills.
