The duo, for their part, sent shockwaves for getting together on the reality show given the huge age gap between the pair. Gemma, for her part, is only 19-years-old. Meanwhile, Davide is 27. Therefore, the fact that Gemma is so young is something that did not sit well with the fans.
Not only that, but this has been exacerbated given who Gemma’s father is. She is the daughter of England legend and former soccer player Michael Owen. And yet, the duo could not contain themselves.
In the picture here, we can see the pair passionately making out, as they lock lips. They do not have a care in the world or the fact that there are any cameras watching them. Nevertheless, it is important to consider the following factors.
First of all, the winner of the reality TV show ends up walking away with £50,000. As such, if the contestants manage to stay in the show and not get voted out, then they have the opportunity to walk away with the prize.
As a result, there is an argument that this could be for publicity. Secondly, what happens in front of the camera is not necessarily the same when things are taken into the real world. With that being said, it is too early to comment on where this will go.
That did not stop the fans from having their say, though. And they did not hold back on their comments which were derogatory in nature. One person wrote: “Ewwww, I’m sorry but why does Davide as a 27 year old want to be coupled up with a 19 year old,” while another person stated: “Keep Gemma away from Davide. She’s a teenager and he is nearly 30, I am not here for it.”
