When Moriah Plath got to LA with brother Micah Plath, she revealed more about the break up with now ex-boyfriend Max Kallschmidt than she had previously. Max gave some really strange sounding story about how he had attending a friend’s retirement party and that he had kissed another girl while he was there and said that it was the girl that his friend (a man who was retiring) was after.
That was the original story, however Moriah revealed that it was “more than a kiss” when she got out to LA with Micah, which to be honest, is not that surprising for someone their age.

Moriah said that she thought Max was her soulmate, he was her first kiss and we can assume her first love after music. Young love is often really strong, we’ve all been there, we’ve all felt it, and when it ends, we feel like its the end of the world – that’s what Moriah felt when she and Max broke up.
Yes, she was the one that pulled the plug, but it seems that Max didn’t really value what Moriah had put into the relationship and kept putting forth the idea that Moriah was “advertising” to other guys… sometimes when guys are tying to cheat, they’ll actually blame the other party implying that the girl wants to move on, when it’s really them.
That seems to be the case with Max because he said that he didn’t let things get “too far” but it would seem that he did – while Moriah didn’t elaborate on what “more than a kiss” meant, just from the way she’s crying and still sad after 3 months – we know exactly what it was. Max straight up hooked up with and cheated on her with another girl and then it seemed he used circular logic to blame her for him cheating because of the way she was dressed.
No Max, that’s not the way it works, if you cheat it’s on you, not Moriah’s responsibility. We do feel for Moriah, but we’re not surprised – we’re happy that she seems to be getting her groove back and pouring herself into her music now. Stay tuned!!!
