The new season of Welcome to Plathville is coming our way and we are pretty excited to see what happens this year. The Plath family has been through a lot and it looks like they are all changing and trying to figure out where life is taking them. In one of the trailers for the new season, Moriah Plath and Max Kallschmidt will revisit their terrible breakup.
Welcome to Plathville: The Emotional Trailer
In one emotional scene from the new season, the producers ask Moriah what happened. She takes a minute to think and looks as if she is about to cry. She tells the cameras, “A couple of weeks after I moved to Tampa, Max called me one night and just said he made a mistake. I’m not going to go into details. Since then, I have been in a dark place.”
Welcome to Plathville: Moriah Plath Will Revisit Her Breakup with Max Kallschmidt on the Fourth Season
Moriah has been trying her best to heal and by the look on her face, it has been really hard. Every time she began to talk about things, her emotion would get the best of her.
She has been writing a lot of music lately and she said that this has really helped her get through it all. In one of her new songs, the lyrics say, “Trying to picture myself, who I’ll be when it’s been six months without you but all I see are the promises you couldn’t keep and I know I should hate you but I kinda miss you.”
Moriah also pointed out, “It hurts really bad, especially when you think that you found the one and you had all of these plans of forever, and it turns out not to be true. It made me feel worthless for sure. It made me feel like I had poured everything that I had of my heart to be treated like I could just be traded for anything. My life really fell apart, and since then I’ve kind of just secluded myself. I’m scared to share what happened with anybody because if I say it loud, it becomes real.”
There was suspicion last year when Moriah stopped posting pictures of Max on her Instagram account that they had broken up. She started to make more music and it really was emotional and cut to the core.
You can continue to follow Moriah on her Instagram account and you can tune into Welcome to Plathville on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST oon TLC.
