In the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, we have seen a lot of testimony making some crazy claims about both of them. The ex-lovers have gone at it and are still battling it out.
On Thursday, Heard took the stand and that is when she let it all out about Depp and him allegedly cheating on her just a few days after they got married. She told the court that right after they got married in February of 2015, Depp ended up going to see an ex-girlfriend of his. She said that he had been having an affair for quite some time.
The Big Reveal
Heard brought up a trip to Australia that they took together and when they got into a big fight, he got drunk and passed out. That is when she saw that his iPad was unlocked and she began to look at the messages that he had written to an unknown woman.
Amber Heard ‘Freaks Out’ Over Meeting
She told the court, “He was texting this woman that he had had a relationship with on and off kind of at the beginning of our relationship, so I recognized the name. But the date was right after the wedding. I saw that he had gone to her house after we had gotten married. Upon touching down in Los Angeles, I think it was the next day he went to this woman’s house that he has this sexual relationship with.”
She brought it up that she “freaked out” and knew that she had to confront him. “I didn’t care in that moment if he did kill me, which was likely, confronting him at that stage of our lives. I didn’t even care anymore; he had already ripped my heart out. It was unbelievably painful. I remember being so mad at him for cheating on me… It just felt like everything came crashing down. I was so hurt.”
A spokesperson from Heard added, “As evidenced by the statement just released, Mr. Depp’s defamation claim is falling apart so rapidly that his counsel are turning from prosecutor to persecutor.” This case continues to be a performance for both Depp and Heard. but it looks as if Depp fans are rallying behind him and feel that he is in the right with this entire case.
We will have to continue to keep an eye on this case as it continues moving forward next week to determine what the jury decides.
