Nothing like starting a new week with some potential, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some more character building.
We’re in for a couple of twists and turns, as well as the standard of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) restoring order at Newman Enterprises with a simple word or gesture.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Restoring confidence
After all the strife the last few months, Newman Enterprises had to have taken some hits, but more likely it’s the shareholders being concerned about the company with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on the mend.
Victor will step in and restore confidence in the company, and we think he’ll do that by publicly support Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s new position as Co-CEO.
it’ll be a simple answer to a problem that was minor, but it’s worth Victor standing tall so it’ll happen.
This feels like a feel good moment before things implode, but with their last few attempts it may be better to let Victor ride off as the hero and switch gears elsewhere.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy hears it
‘Young and the Restless’ aren’t surprised Victoria will seek Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out after his podcast. After all, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) predicted it.
This will inject some energy into the episode to keep our attention when Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) facing the Abbotts are between breaks.
Victoria will know it has to be Billy on the podcast and she’ll rip into him for not respecting her wishes and staying out of her business.
It’s the same argument we’ve seen about as often as Lily giving him an ultimatum, so we’re pretty sure Billy will be put in his place for a brief moment.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Diane’s in the crosshairs
With the Abbotts unloading their pent up anger toward Diane and letting the questions fly, things will get interesting when they start demanding answers.
We’re curious if this confrontation will push Diane into her darker self to finally give us some glimpse of action in a storyline that’s quickly soured aside of the emotional impact.
We still think she’s putting up a good front, and while she may show some cracks here to tease us, she’ll hold it together enough to convince her son she’s changed.
And maybe she has, but will it last for long? Thing can change on a moment’s notice, and that may be enough to force her hand before too long.
