On the new season of 90 Day Fiancé, we have been introduced to Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer. These two are not on the same page when it comes to money and how to deal with finances.
Now that they are living together and getting ready to get married, they are going to have to figure out their finances and how they can make this work. Money is a huge part of a marriage and if they were ever going to work, this is something that they need to communicate about and learn how to see eye to eye on.
90 Day Fiancé: Joining Their Money
In the newest episode of the show, Kara and Guillermo will get into it when they start talking about what they should do with the money in their joint savings account. Guillermo wants to get himself a new laptop, but Kara feels that they should just keep saving money instead of spending it.

Kara tells the cameras, “I’m, like, a little bit blindsided at this sudden want of a computer when he knows that we’re on a tight budget right now. I’m, like, getting started in my real estate career and he’s not able to work for God knows how long. We have about $6,000 saved, so I don’t think spending $1,000 on a laptop is the best way to be spending our money right now.”
She also reminds him that this money has been saved for him for the entire time he is in the states and not working. Neither one of them knows right now how long it will take until he can work legally in the states.
Kara brings up the fact that Guillermo needs to be aware of everything he needs in the states now that he has moved in. She will be the breadwinner for months before he will be able to work and she doesn’t feel like a laptop is a necessity.
He tells the cameras, “I don’t like her talking down to me because it’s like, she’s trying to make me feel like a little kid. We’re spending money together. We are, like, building a life together. It’s like, I just got her and you want to control me. I mean, she’s not my mom.”
