Kanye West’s reps have confirmed that the troubled rapper is no longer welcomed to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards. His upcoming (yet as to unannounced) performance has been pulled due to “concerning online behavior.”

The Hollywood Reporter received details that West got the ‘thanks but no thanks” call on Friday evening. Though Ye is up for five nominations this year, including Best Rap Album and Album of the Year for his 2021 release, Donda, he is no longer part of the line-up who will perform at the ceremony in Las Vegas 0n April 3.

It has been said the 44-year-old artist’s team was not surprised by the decision. Kanye has consistently been making headlines with his bad behavior- both in-person (he sucker-punched a fan back in January and is currently under investigation for battery) and online where his feud with estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her new beau, SNL’s Pete Davidson continues to expand to include more and more celebs.

While Kanye has apologized to  for releasing some text exchanges between the two, he continues to harass and disparage his ex. His focus, however, has moved largely to threatening and (attempted) ridiculing of Pete, referring to the comedian as Skete, who Kanye is quite open about wanting to  “beat his ass”.

Lately Ye’s posts have moved along to former ally, comedian D.L Hughley and Comedy Central star, Trevor Noah. West was even temporarily suspended from Instagram on Wednesday, March 16, after posting a racist slur about The Daily Show host.

Incidentally, Trevor Noah will be hosting the 2022 Grammys.

Reps for the embattled “I am a God” singer declined to confirm if the rapper will still attending the 64h Annual Grammy Awards or if he is even still invited to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3 where he can watch the performances by Billie Eilish, Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, and others.

The Grammys will air on Sunday, April 3 on CBS at 8pm ET
