Yara Dufren Zaya , best known for being on the hit TV show ‘90 Day Fiancé‘, has spoken out on the state of her family amid the Russia-Ukraine war.

’90 Day Fiancé’: Yara Dufren Zaya Reassures Fans Her Family Are Fine In Ukraine-‘They Are All In A Safe Area Now’

Yara, for her part, is Ukrainian which has meant that she has had to watch from afar, as she resides in Covington, Louisiana. Although that may be the case, she does have family and friends who have been caught up in the conflict.

Therefore, it was only natural that the current events have been playing on her mind. Thankfully, though, she was able to have some positive news about her family. In an interview with Fox News, she said: “My family is doing well. They are all in a safe area now.

“They are just having a few small problems with food shortages and being able to get things from the store. I am grateful for their safety.”

Nevertheless, she still does have things on her mind when it comes to her friends. She expanded on how some of her friends are still in Kyiv. The capital city has become a hotspot for danger, with increasing missile strikes taking place in and around the area.

While they are still alive and unharmed, the conditions are not ideal knowing that bombs could fall at anytime. She added: “I still have one close friend who remains in Kyiv. They are not living now in very comfortable conditions, but they are safe.

“Some of my friends are currently in a homeless shelter.” The conflict has also affected Yara too. After finally giving birth to her daughter, she had intended to visit Ukraine to introduce her to her wider family. But given what has been going on now, this is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Rather than that getting her down, she has decided to unite and come together with her fellow Ukrainians that live in the United States. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I didn’t know we had so many Ukrainian people in my area. It was great to see our community come together and connect.”

As soon as the conflict comes to an end, the better it is for everyone involved. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit The Over Timer for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favorite daytime television soaps.
