Britney Spears thinks that there is something a little fishy about how Brittany Murphy died and as it happens, there’s a connection between these two. The singer posted about the late actress saying that she finds it a bit ‘curious’ how Brittany died at only 32-years-old.
Murphy was found unresponsive back in 2009 in her Hollywood Hills home and the coroner ruled her death as untreated pneumonia and drug intoxication. What Spears is finding interesting, is that Simon Monjack, Murhpy’s husband died in the same house 5 months later from the “same causes”.

There was an HBO documentary made last year about Murphy’s death and while Spears didn’t make her connection to Murphy in her post, Spears had lived in the same home and they both admitted that they didn’t like staying in the house.
Monjack once said Murphy had called the home ‘unlucky’ and when Spears had lived there she also thought that place had bad spirits.
In 2011, Murphy’s family sold the mansion and in 2013 it was razed and an entirely new home was built. It does make for an interesting story, and while Spears is a bit late to the conversation (all things considered), it raises some questions.
Could there in fact have been some haunting circumstances around that home that caused the death of Murphy and her husband and what was it that made Spears feel strange while living there? Perhaps with Spears’ new lease on life, she’ll be putting together her own documentary and maybe a little ghost hunting! It’s a far-fetched idea, but you never know.
On the plus side, did tearing down the house and rebuilding it have any effect on potential spirits inside?
