‘The Virgin Bachelor’ or ‘The Gay Bachelor’: you may have heard Colton Underwood be referred to as either or both. Now he is a Bachelor no more (but we will not comment on his virginity status!)
When the ex NFLer helmed the 23rd season of the long running ABC dating show, he claimed that he was ready for marriage with one of the women vying for his heart. Now he has proven that at least that part of that statement was true by revealing to PEOPLE magazine that he is engaged to boyfriend Jordan C. Brown.
“Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible,” he said in a statement.
‘The Bachelor’ Alum Colton Underwood is Engaged
Underwood and Brown’s romance began heating up in the summer of 2021. The pair were spotted canoodling in Hawaii only a couple of months after the former reality star publicly came out as gay. His April 2021 interview and announcement with GMA’s Robin Roberts, its lead up and aftermath were all documented for his Netflix docuseries, Coming Out Colton.
Months later, in December of 2021 Colton told PEOPLE, “I wasn’t really pursuing dating at first. But since then I found somebody and I am very much in love.”
Colton celebrated his engagement news on both Instagram and Twitter with a photo of the handsome couple and the simple caption, “Life is going to be fun with you.”
Fiancé, 39 year old Jordan share a different picture of the pair with Colton popping a bottle of Champagne.
“The only time in my life I’m ok with wasting a bottle of champagne,” he wrote. “I love you babe. ❤️ 🤵♂️ 🍾”
While many fans of the 30 year old reality star are happy for the man who had quite the tough past couple of years…

It is interesting that Colton is now ready to pledge his entire future to his first ever boyfriend, but then, he certainly seems smitten with his man, if nothing else. And vice versa.
