Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have capped off two pretty terrible years by losing over $1 million worth of jewelry after one of their Los Angeles homes was burglarized on January 3, 2022.

The pair, who both spent time behind bars in 2020 for their part in the college admissions scandal, were not home at the time of the invasion. Luckily their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella weren’t there, either.

Update After Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Have $1 Million in Jewelry Stolen in Home Evasion.

Police say the thieves broke Lori and Mossimo’s bedroom window and took the embattled actress’s jewelry box, the contents of which has been estimated worth a cool mill.

The break-in and theft was discovered by the housekeeper who spotted the burglars, dressed in all black and wearing masks, as they made their getaway. Security footage, not released to the public, apparently corroborates the housekeeper’s description of what she saw.

It’s not known for sure if Lori and Mossimo were targeted but police are leaning towards the invasion being a hit by a professional burglary crew from South America. The LAPD have said these pros are known to hit several mansions before hightailing it out of the country.

It could be the same robbers who held Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Dorit Kemsley at gunpoint before getting away with over $1 million worth of valuables in the form of designer purses, watches and other jewelry or even the same group who killed philanthropist Jacqueline Avant in a home invasion at her Beverly Hills mansion last month.

Lori has said she is thankful no one was hurt and, with her Full House co-star Bob Saget passing away unexpectedly only 6 days after the robbery, put the home invasion in perspective for her. A spokesperson for Lori said that the actress understands material objects mean nothing compared to family and love.

Lori and Mossimo have beefed up security since the burglary. The home is currently being watched around the clock.

    Stay safe, everybody!
