Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli have been in the news quite frequently lately and they are back in the news again, but this time it is because their Los Angeles home was burglarized earlier this month. The news of the robbery came on January 3 and now it looks as if there has been quite an expensive amount of items stolen from the home.

    Celebs: The Expenses

Loughlin reported that the thieves who robbed them ended up taking over $1 million worth of her jewelry. When the robbers were inside of the home, they took Louglin’s jewelry box and in it was some very expensive jewelry that she has had for years.

The couple was not at home when the robbery occurred, but a housekeeper discovered that the home had been broken into. The perpetrators were able to get into the couple’s home by smashing in one of the bedroom windows. They were reported to be “dressed in all black and wore masks” and they were on video surveillance from the home.

The couple isn’t quite sure if they had been targeted or if this was just a random event. The couple has pointed out that there is a South American burglary crew in the area and they have been hitting many homes in the area. This crew will break into homes then they will flee the country and return after the case has been closed. Loughlin pointed out that many of the people that live in the area have told her about this crew that robs homes in wealthier neighborhoods.

Loughlin and her husband are grateful that no one was hurt during the robbery and they have faith that the police will do their best to find these men and charge them accordingly. She has also been dealing with the tragic death of her friend and Full House co-star, Bob Saget, who died on last week.

When she heard about Saget’s death, she said that things really got put into perspective for her. She noted that this is all material stuff and it isn’t what is important in her life right now. She said that the important things are family and love and she is very happy that no one was hurt in this incident.

The couple has beefed up their security system and they said that they would always be at their home from now on. This is pretty scary and we are glad that no one was hurt in the incident.
