Let’s just say that they are together, but apart, and they might keep it this way permanently. Or not. There’s a new report that says Tori Spelling spend New Year’s Eve with her six children while her husband Dean McDermott was in bed fighting pneumonia. Here’s what you need to know.
Tori and Dean are making it pretty clear to the world that they would rather spend time apart than with each other, as rumors about a possible divorce continue to make waves. Tori took her kids to the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, where she shared a photo of Instagram with her kids.

She captioned it with, “Happy New Year’s Eve 2021. The kiddos and I were so excited to continue our family tradition since my oldest were babies. My parents used to bring my brother and I here growing up. I wanted my kids to continue that tradition. I can’t wait for my kids to bring their kids here one day!”
Dean McDermott, meanwhile, shared a photo from bed. “Happy New year Everyone!!! I’m down but not out!! Pneumonia sucks,” he captioned it with, adding, “but I’m not going to let it dampen my spirits!! I hope your 2022 is full of love, light and prosperity. Much love to you all.”
According to ET Online, one source close to the situation says Tori and Dean are “very much struggling” in their marriage. “Tori and Dean do things as a family for the sake of their kids and live in the same house but sleep in separate rooms,” a source tells ET. “Tori is more vocal about what goes on between them, and Dean is just completely checked out.”
Apparently, there’s also trust issues in the marriage as Dean’s alleged infidelities have also hurt their chances of keeping things together.
“Dean has been caught in so many lies and infidelities over the years and Tori is just over it,” the source continued. “Dean does not want to get divorced because of financial reasons, and Tori doesn’t want to for the sake of their family.” So far neither Tori nor Dean have made any comments about the state of their marriage.
