‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has it in his head that he’s going to be able to get shared custody of Dominic from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) because of some bad advice from Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
This has sparked a lot of outrage among fans and people are getting fed up with this storyline, especially now that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) has returned to Genoa City and can step into his fatherly duties. Hopefully, Y&R will not continue to pursue this story angle because it’s not a good look for folks who have used surrogates to have their own family. I mean, ‘Friends’ already did this story… better, two decades ago.

Fans have reacted to the story saying, “Y&R needs new writers ASAP!! It’s soooo bad. It’s boring. There’s no DRAMA! Let Sheila come back and terrorize Lauren…SOMETHING!! #theboldandthebeautiful is way better and it’s only 26 minutes long!“, “When Mariah was obsessing over Dominic everyone including Devon was worried. Now Devon’s obsessing over Dominic and about to take legal action! 🤔 I know it’s a soap, but jeez..“, “I really hope they don’t have Devon trying to get some type of custody or visitation! He knew what he was getting into, they all did, Chance wasn’t even there when they went through with the surrogacy! I’m just so tired of this story and everyone involved in it except Tessa! I know her relationship with Noah wasn’t the real thing in the beginning but wouldn’t mind seeing where it could go now.” and “You know I love Young and Restless. But the whole Devon thing about seeing Dominic is kind of bull, it was an agreement. Please don’t go down this path.”
