‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been putting on a show for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and convincing everyone that he has fallen off the wagon again.

He has Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) standing behind him as well as many viewers as it looks like he’s finally going to pull one over on the Newman’s after being the bunt of jokes for so many years. However, there is one thing people are worried about.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Fall Back Into His Old Habits While Putting On His Show?

What if Billy actually does fall into his old habits while acting as he has? The temptation is there. Viewers commented about this, “What if during this scheme of faking a downward spiral, Billy actually falls into his old habits??”, “I was thinking the same thing.”, and “do you think billy will start drinking again while pretending?”

However, I’m not too worried. I think it’s about time for Billy to get a win and with Lily by his side, he has a solid rock that supports him and what he’s doing. He even went back to his old gambling hole and asked for a favor, which they seemed perfectly okay with doing.

While there’s always a chance, because this is a soap opera and we’re looking for the drama, I think Billy has paid his dues, and this is his time to rise. I say keep it going Billy, fool the Newman’s and take what’s yours. Plus, Thompson has been killing it as Billy. It’s been a wonderful performance to watch.

What do you think? Do you think Billy could fall off the wagon or is this is chance to prove that he’s a changed man and ready to take on the world? Let us know in the comments below.
