Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have apparently chosen to spend Christmas with a selection of Hollywood celebrities as opposed to the Royal family.

This is hardly a surprise given how the couple have spoken out against the Royal family ever since they left. This was most notably seen with their highly talked about interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS.
Given that their disagreements have not been resolved, it is hardly a shock that they are not going to be playing happy families. It is claimed that the couple will be spending their time with Doria Ragland.
In addition, there will be some other famous celebrities including Katharine McPhee and David Foster. A source said: “They’ll have some get-togethers with friends and colleagues who’ve been by their side through thick and thin this year.”
And yet, their decision has been criticised for the following reasons. First of all, this is seen as a slap in the face of the Royals, as the couple could have easily chosen to celebrate it themselves.
Secondly, in any event, the very fact that Queen Elizabeth has been experiencing health problems of late should have been something that the couple considered when making the decision.
In Harry’s defence, it is important to bear in mind that this will be one of the few Christmas’ that he will have had the chance to enjoy with Meghan alone.
And at a time where they have been through so much together, it is only natural that they would want to enjoy that time without the added pressure of having to reconcile with the Royal family. And by the looks of it, the duo have already made plans.
The source added: “They’ve done a ton of thoughtful shopping, and the toys, books and other treats from Santa are going to make the little ones very happy.
“At the end of the day, all that matters to Harry is that they’ll be together.” Harry and Meghan have made their position clear.
After all, they have to do what is right for them regardless of what others may think. And that should be commended at the very least.
