Many fans of 90 Day Fiancé have been waiting patiently to hear what the verdict is with Geoffrey Paschel’s sentencing. He was charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The trial happened this past fall and he was found guilty of the charges against him. His wife, Varya Malina has been pushing her followers on social media to donate to his commissary so that he can be happier while he is in prison.
His son, Dakota even asked his fans to help out with donations to help pay legal fees and get him the justice he deserved. Now it looks like everyone in Geoffrey’s life will have to wait even longer to hear what the outcome is with his sentencing.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Delayed Sentencing
The first date that Paschel was given for his sentencing was December 3. The date has been delayed and they are not quite sure when he will be sentenced. Varya has taken it upon herself to tell her fans that she thinks he is innocent and he is not the man that would ever do something like this. She has denied his violent side every chance she gets on social media and won’t back down to support her husband.
There were a lot of fans who were very let down that Paschel wasn’t getting sentenced when he was supposed to. It looks as if his sentencing won’t happen until at least February 2, 2022. Before he went to trial, Geoffrey spent a few years just traveling and enjoying his life with Varya.
They secretly got married and when he was found guilty, Varya confirmed that they were married and she shared several of their wedding photos. Most fans knew all along that they were together and had gotten back together after their time on the show.
When Geoffrey is sentenced, he could get anywhere from 12 to 20 years in prison without the possibility of parole. Varya has been sharing pictures of him from jail and he looks very tired and upset. Even though she is being optimistic about his sentencing, he seems to be preoccupied and it really doesn’t look like he has adapted to prison very well.
When the couple was on the show, Varya got very upset when he told her that he had been to jail before for selling drugs. We all thought that she would surely leave him then, but she stuck by him. It seems like she continues to think he is innocent no matter what.
