You certainly read that right as there’s a new report that says Meghan Markle beat out Queen Elizabeth to be the most influential royal in the world. Here’s what you need to know.
In a new survey by Design Bundles, came out on top with 7.4 million searches on Google, 10.4million Instagram hashtags and 11,200 articles written about her.
Meghan Markle Is Still The Most Influential Royal In The World
Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth came out in second, while Kate Middleton followed in third. Meghan’s husband Prince Harry was fourth while his late mother Princess Diana rounded up the top five.
Popularity must be the Duchess of Sussex’s thing. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone as Meghan Markle was also voted as having the most popular wedding dress of the decade, according to a survey conducted by gifting specialists Find Me A Gift.
That’s because Meghan’s dress was the most searched for wedding dress of the last ten years, with over 21,900 searches after her wedding to Prince Harry back in2018.
On her wedding, the former Hollywood actress wore a white sleeve, off the shoulder Givenchy gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller. Apparently, it’s remained as one of the most popular wedding dresses of the decade.
