Back in October the remains of Brian Laundrie were found in a reserve down in Florida after having been missing for 5 weeks amid a lot of speculation that he had just taken off and that his family was helping him escape the long arm of the law. Laundrie went missing after the disappearance and subsequent death of his girlfriend Gabby Petito.
Gabby’s death was said to have been by strangulation according to the marks found on her body. While Brian’s own body was submerged in water and upon discovery the cause of death was not immediately apparent and his remains had to be sent off to a forensic anthropologist.

Today, the manner of death has finally been revealed: Brian Laundrie apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
This only answers how Laundrie died. This does not answer the questions that is on everyone’s minds, of what was going on between Brian and Gabby and why on earth he would run from the law instead of helping look for Gabby or take responsibility for anything he allegedly did.
Right now it is only alleged that he killed Gabby and nothing has been proven, though now that we know that his own death was self-inflicted we can only guess the reasons behind that decision. As if right now it is not known whether he left behind any kind of suicide note or anything clueing anyone in to what he may or may not have been thinking during his last days.
There was a backpack and a water bottle found at the site where the remains were found, belonging to Laundrie, however it is unknown what the contents contained besides a sketchbook because Brian was a graphic artist.
As for what the contents of that sketchbook is, we don’ t know and may never know unless the authorities deem it relevant to the case and release the content to the public. However if it is indeed just a sketchbook then the possibility of there being words written in it are extra nil.
