A TikTok video has gone viral after it showed TikToker TizzyEnt speaking about how employees from Southwest Airlines are becoming worried about the company’s protocols to deal with Covid-19.
TikTok Video Goes Viral As It Shows Airlines Struggling To Comply With Covid Regulations
In the video here, the TikToker is heard describing some of the experiences that the staff have to deal with. Given that the pandemic has alienated people along the lines of vaccine/masks, it is only natural that not everyone is going to agree on certain things.
@tizzyent Southwest, what’s the deal?
But it looks as though things have been getting out of hand with employees left feeling uncertain. That is why some people reached out to this TikTok user to express their grievances.
In the video, the man is heard saying: “I’ve heard more than a few stories from Southwest employees about how when they have asked a passenger to put on their mask.
“And that passenger became aggressive or even violent. They ended up getting a call from their supervisor reprimanding them for ‘not handling it better.”
Just when you thought that was bad enough, there have been other political statements being made. There have been suggestions that employees may be pressured into getting the vaccine, given that such employees have had better rights associated with it.
According to the video, vaccinated employees are better off as they receive 16 hours worth of extra pay. And yet, this is discriminatory, to say the least.
He added: “On paper, it sounds great [but]… The ones who don’t want to get vaccinated complain that the ones who do get money.” To make things even more worrying, there is a feeling that religious exemptions are being used on an arbitrary basis.
While the main reason seems to be exemptions on the grounds that the vaccine was tested on aborted foetuses, this has been expanded to include other things.
The following comments confirmed as much: “Some employees are bragging that they got theirs [religious exemption] approved not for the abortion thing, but because they believe the vaccine is the mark of the beast.”
The last thing that employees need is inconsistency when it comes to the pandemic, as that is only going to cause disharmony. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
