Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jennifer Shah has denied claims by her co-star Meredith Marks that her assistant had stolen a handbag from Meredith.

Jennifer, for her part, is already in a lot of trouble with the authorities. She had been arrested while the show was being filmed on the grounds of telemarketing fraud. There were also implications that her assistant was involved.
Therefore, this is the last thing that she needs to hear when there is already increasing scrutiny over her behaviour. And yet, just because somebody has done something untrustworthy once does not necessarily mean that they are always guilty.
That is why Jennifer has vehemently denied such claims. In a statement, she said: “If that’s the truth, bitch, call the police. Call 9-1-1.
“If someone stole from you, call 9-1-1. Or, if you think [it’s] someone on my team, why wouldn’t you call me? Why wouldn’t you call me? Because it’s bulls–t.”
This begs the question, where did Meredith’s claims emerge from? Well, during the course of the show, Meredith stated one of her workers from her store in Utah had opened her jewellery store for Jennifer in September 2020 for a considerable time.
And after shopping, it was claimed that the handbag in question was missing. Shortly after, Meredith had reportedly told her worker to text Jennifer and asked whether she had borrowed the bag.
The following day, the assistant returned the bag, which was apparently recorded on the store’s camera. In another statement, Meredith stated: “Jen did not walk out with a bag.
“But what really didn’t sit well with me is she kept someone who she knew did take something out of my store in her employment. That’s not my friend.”
Jennifer and Meredith are clearly not on good terms. And this incident shows that there is a lack of trust between the two. Given that Jennifer already has many things to deal with, she should focus on making sure that she hangs around in good company.
