‘The Bachelorette’ star Katie Thurston has lost a fiancé and some face, all in one week.
On Friday, October 22, Katie opened for comedienne, Whitney Cummings on her “Touch Me Tour” at City National Grove of Anaheim, California. It did not go well.
According to some in the audience, the Bachelorette star, who recently relocated from Seattle to San Diego, referred repeatedly to the cue cards in her hand, elicited very few giggles with her expletive riddled masturbation while working from home and pants pooping stories and begged more than once, “get me off this stage” throughout her 10 minute set.

Katie had previously made an appearance on Whitney’s podcast, with the women discussing a previous bad date of Katie‘s, and some of (then) fiancé’ Blake Moynes’ more interesting cleaning habits
Whitney commented on the clip Katie shared saying, “Hahaha you have your first stand up bit!”
Apparently, it didn’t do as well on stage as it did on a podcast. To be fair to Katie, it may have just been a terribly tough crowd in Anaheim, but as clips have made their way to social media, the consensus seems to be that Katie should stick to being funny on Tik Tok. Others commented that the potty humor has been “done to death” and that after watching the short snippet of the routine, another said, “my body is hurting from cringing.”
It has been a tough week for the 30 year old bank marketing manager. Blake was not mentioned in Katie’s stand-up routine (unlike on the podcast) and only days later Blake and Katie announced that their engagement of three months was off.
As social media flooded with comments like “Katie‘s whole [Bachelorette] season could have been an email, Michelle Young’s is heating up as it currently airs on ABC, Tuesdays and 8pm ET
