General Hospital spoilers for the week of October 11th ask, “Redemption or revenge?” The title is ominous, but we think things are going to turn out better than it might look. At least, when it comes to one thing. Let’s take a look at what the promo shows and what we see.

    General Hospital spoilers: Guilty conscience?

First, General Hospital spoilers indicate a couple of people might be struggling with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) return. Obviously, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had a lot of hard choices to make over the time Sonny was gone. However, their choice to get married might be the thing that’s the hardest to deal with.

In the promo, Jason points out they thought Sonny was dead for nine months. We wonder, based on that and the look on Carly’s face, if she’s having a hard time with the fact that marriage was supposed to be real. We wouldn’t be surprised if both feel that they cheated Sonny in some way, although Jason looks to be the one with the most perspective. In fact, we think that might be him talking Carly down. And with everything going on right now, she needs it.

    General Hospital spoilers: Adjustment period

Elsewhere, Jarly aren’t the only ones having to deal with the consequences of Nixon Falls. In the promo, we see Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Sonny talking. He points out that Sonny lived an entirely different life for the better part of a year. We’re not sure how that comes up exactly, but we think the statement will hit home a bit. It’s true that Sonny was basically a whole other person during that time, so we’re sure there’s going to be some adjustments to make. Especially when it comes to dealing with the feelings he had for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). His behavior thus far tells us that he’s still somewhat being guided by those feelings, because he seemed to be protecting Nina at times. And what else is coming might make him more likely to.

There’s a scene with Nina and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) in the promo. They appear to have been talking when Sonny opens the door. The shock on Nina’s face tells us she doesn’t expect anything good to come, but we wonder. After all, Phyllis was the one who asked Sonny if he can write Nina off just like that. So, we think there’s a heart to heart ahead for both her and Nina and Nina and Sonny.

    General Hospital spoilers: Confession

Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal there is definitely one confession ahead this week. In the promo, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) asks Carly, “So you lied?” Carly answers, “yeah.” Based on the tone in Britt’s voice and the teasers/promo for Monday, we have a feeling this confession doesn’t go over well. And this might be one situation where Carly isn’t going to get her way.
