‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the wedding between Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) happened off-screen today. While they will be making an appearance later this month on the show, we were hoping for a small glimpse of the two in Italy.
However, it was only briefly mentioned by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when they arrived for Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding, that they had just come from Summer’s.

This feels unfortunate and a lot of fans probably feel cheated as we spent so much time with Kyle and Summer over the years and watched their relationship grow only to not be able to view their wedding and the culmination of everything they had gone through together.
Seems like a sleight to the viewers and I can’t imagine how a lot of people must feel. Sure, things happen off-screen all the time, or children rapidly age, etc, but to do something so big with these beloved characters off-screen doesn’t seem like a good move.
Meanwhile, we had to sit through Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) weddings and they didn’t mean nearly as much as Summer and Kyle’s would have.
At any rate, the two are set to return to Genoa City sometime this month, so keep an eye out for the two love birds and hopefully, we’ll see young Harrison as well. Well, hopefully, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will before he goes insane.
