CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some fun times today as Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s secret has come out.
It looks like things in Tuscany are going to erupt in glorious fashion now that the truth is out, and we’re going to need plenty of popcorn to get us through this one.
And the fun’s not going to stop there as Genoa City will see some wheeling and dealing as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sets his plan into motion to bring Ashland’s story to the world.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 7: Billy was right
The notion that Billy was right are going to be ingrained in Victoria Newman (Ameila Heinle)’s thoughts from this moment forward, especially given how her father tried to help hide Ashland’s past on his own.
While she’ll understand that, she won’t be so quick to forgive being kept in the dark and we think she’s going to explode on him when she sees him.
At the wedding would be perfect timing. Assuming there will be a wedding.
Right now, we don’t think there will be given how she’s going to be concerned about Newman Enterprises taking a huge hit if this comes out.
In response, Victor Newman and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will attempt to limit the damage, all the while blaming Billy for what’s happened and ignoring had they dug deeper instead of trying to put Billy in his place this could’ve been avoided.
While we’re looking forward to the carnage, we feel so bad for Victoria at being put in this situation. Everyone tried to protect her in their own way, but only Billy and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) trusted her to know what they knew.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 7: Billy moves into action
This is going to be an interesting bit because Billy won’t know what’s going on in Tuscany and he’s going to be intent on bringing the story out into the light of day.
While he begins to lay the groundwork and hammer out some final details, he could be heading to his own execution, figuratively speaking, as Victoria and everyone else will never forgive him if he publishes the story.
But if he sits on it, then he’ll earn Victoria’s gratitude and make Victor grumble, cuss, and fuss about what a horrible person he is for protecting Victoria better than he could.
There’s so much potential here, we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
