No, this has nothing to do with Chrissy Teigen’s bullying scandal for once. The former model says that she is now looking for closure after having a ‘blessings ceremony’ for her late son, Jack. Chrissy suffered her pregnancy loss one year ago. Here’s what you need to know.
Chrissy, along with her mother, Vilailuck, her husband John Legend, and their two children Miles and Luna, attended the ceremony for baby Jack. The family members all wear black in the photos, which show them standing by a table adorned with flowers.
Chrissy Teigen Is Looking For Closure
She captioned her photo with, “Took me a year but finally honored his little spirit with some blessings today. hopefully some closure in my heart will happen now thank you guys for the kind words. It’s a process. Xx”
In a separate photo, Chrissy also shared a throwback of her moments after she was told that she had lost her pregnancy at the hospital. In the photo, Chrissy can be seen crying with John by her side. She wrote, “and to the son we almost had. a year ago you gave me the greatest pain I could ever imagine to show me I could survive anything, even if I didn’t want to.
I didn’t get to take care of you but you came and went to get me to love myself and take care of myself because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. they told me it would get easier but yeah, that hasn’t started yet. mom and dad love you forever.”
Last year, Chrissy wrote that her doctors were not able to stop the constant bleeding that she was experiencing, and therefore couldn’t adequately get her baby boy the fluids he needed to survive. Before that, she had been placed on a mandatory two-week bed rest.
The model didn’t specifically state how far along she was, but she had said previously that she was about halfway through her pregnancy, so around 4 or 5 months.
