‘Bachelor In Paradise’ spoilers find that not too many of the large Bachelor Nation population were terribly upset to hear that controversial couple Brendan Morais and Pieper James have called it quits.
It was reported that things began souring after Bachelor In Paradise started airing, especially due to the backlash the pair received when the episode in which Pieper joined the show aired and the couple—already booed up prior to coming down to Mexico—let their true intentions be heard.
It was also said that Pieper did not like seeing Brendan on a date with Demi Burnett or getting close to Natasha Parker. He kissed both women.

It appears the two did try to make a go of it though their reputations were in tatters and their social media standings plummeted, but ultimately, it was Paradise lost and they are now both single.
Pieper spoke out about her controversial appearance and departure from the show from New York Fashion Week last month saying, “It is what it is, and it happened. I honestly try not to live with regrets. What happened, happened, and I’ll deal with whatever happens next.”
She still claims she had “no idea” Brendan would be in Mexico when she got there. “Beforehand, Brendan and I obviously had been talking, but it wasn’t a serious relationship. As we both said on the show, we didn’t have a plan. I have so much going on I couldn’t have put that together. But obviously, I liked him and I was excited to see him, but that was the extent of it.”
Unfortunately for Pieper the conversations she and Brendan had on camera and mic’ed up seemed to directly contradict that statement. Pieper also wanted viewers to remember how well edited the show is.
Another person involved in the drama who is speaking out is Natasha, whose roses Brendan kept collecting so he could stay in the game, awaiting Pieper’s arrival. Though Natasha’s popularity on Instagram soared, with followers now in the 400K range, rumors began to circle that Natasha was in on Brendan and Pieper’s scheme (which Brendan and Pieper claim they never had).
“People are literally saying that I planned this with Brendan and Pieper — a person I’ve met once in my life and a person I’ve never met, who are in a relationship, who did me so wrong,” Natasha stated. “When he said to me that it was casual [and] they only hung out twice … I believed him. That was a choice.”
Looks like there was no winners here- but especially Brendan who lost his reputation, his Instagram followers, his NordicTrack sponsorship…and now the girl.
Bachelor In Paradise airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8pm ET
