Pieper James and Brendan Morais have addressed the rumours that they had hooked up together prior to their arrival on Bachelor in Paradise.

If this were true, then it would explain why Brendan decided to ditch Natasha Parker for Peiper. Natasha, for her part, looked to be very close with Brendan.
But this all changed when Pieper arrived, as she asked Brendan on a date. With the latter agreeing to go on one, Natasha was fuming. Pieper would later announce Brendan as her boyfriend, which forced Natasha to confront Pieper.
Natasha was told by Peiper that she and Brendan were a couple but without an official title before their arrival. Naturally, Natasha felt betrayed by it all. And yet, that is not the response that Brendan had given Natasha.
He denied anything of the sort and stated that they were only friends. But in order to give himself the best possible chance, he wanted to explore things with all the women that appealed to him.
However, that has not gone down well with some of the fans of the show. Jessenia Cruz questioned whether Brendan could be trusted in light of the claims that he had gotten together with Pieper before meeting Natasha.
And her following comments suggest that Brendan’s motives for being there should be questioned. In an interview on the ‘Here for the right Reasons’ podcast, she stated: “I think it does feel like he’s a little reserved. There’s something there that he’s not quite opening up about. and I really feel for Natasha because I personally wouldn’t have the patience to deal with that.”
In response to the heat that was coming their way, Brendan decided to commit to Pieper. In a conversation between the pair, he told Pieper the following: “We have to have each other’s back. It has to be you and me, first and foremost, before anyone else on the beach, and that’s the only way we’re gonna get through this.” Brendan has not left a good impression, but there is still time for him to turn things around.
