After Corey Rathgeber spilled the tea to his friend, Raul about his affair with a woman in Peru, Evelin Villegas slammed him on social media. He had told her that it was a one-time thing, but then told his friend that he and Jenny were in an actual relationship and he had met her parents and he had planned on moving in with her. Evelin’s reaction was pretty intense and now she is ready to divorce him since he lied to her about the entire affair. Now Corey wants to set the record straight for his fans.

Corey has told Evelin that things are over between him and Jenny, but Evelin still feels betrayed, even though she did forgive him when he came out about the affair. Corey decided that he would follow up on Evelin’s post with a post of his own.

He posted adorable and loving pictures of the two of them together. He then wrote about how it is tough to be in a long-distance relationship and on “national and international TV for the world to judge.” He wrote, “7 years is a long time. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.” He then went into a post about how he wanted to work on himself because of how much he loves Evelin.
He ended his post with, “I want you to know that you are the world’s most beautiful girl! I love you with all my heart, please never forget that.” She has yet to respond to his post, but fans started in on him very quickly. One wrote, “OMG! Corey, wake up and smell the roses.” One more chimed in with, “The sad part is that you didn’t and don’t need to change.”
It does seem as if Corey knows that he has really messed up. We are hopeful that this little Instagram post can repair the damage that he has done, but to find out that your husband had a full on relationship with a woman, while he was still with you, has got to be devastating. It is up to Evelin to forgive him, but from the looks of her Instagram, it seems that a divorce is the path that she wants to take at this point.
