General Hospital spoilers for the week of September 20th reveal the PTB haven’t revealed a whole lot. This week’s promo, called “Reception Blowout,” was about 15 seconds and with a couple of exceptions, it was mostly just images of some of the characters with no clue of what they were saying in the moment. Let’s take a look at what they did reveal and what else might be ahead.
General Hospital spoilers: Confession
First of all, we already know from last week that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is back. And he remembers everything. This is obviously going to be a huge mess for him and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) this week, as you see clips of Sonny looking upset. But Nina has more than an angry Sonny to think about.
In the promo, Nina admits to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was blackmailing her. They’ll obviously dig deep into that one and learn the full truth. We can just imagine how her secret will go over with them. Especially since Anna does take her to task Monday for letting Peter basically go unchecked.
General Hospital spoilers: Explosive ending
Also, we saw the wedding come to a cray end on Friday. General Hospital spoilers reveal an explosion happened that causes damage at the church. We’ll see more of that this week as well as the Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) pre-explosion talking about being married. Will they actually be harmed? We’re guessing no. It seemed clear from their conversation someone might have tipped Jason off to trouble. So we imagine they’re not in the car that blew up. We also don’t expect to see the answer to that Monday, as this feels like a perfect drag it out moment. Who knows, though? Maybe they’ll surprise us.
General Hospital spoilers: Elsewhere
Whatever happens with the car and the newlyweds, it’s clearly going to be a big thing this week. There are clips of Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) together. We assume this is coming today, as there was a clip of them in the daily promo talking about an explosion. We’re sure Spinelli will get right on trying to track the newlyweds down.
Meanwhile, there’s also a clip of Brando appearing to speak with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). We’re not sure if this is also about the explosion or not, as there was no audio. However, we think that will be at least part of their talk. We also think Brando might be looking for a little advice. With Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) determined to make nice with mobsters, Brando has to be worried about not only his mother, but how this will affect his relationship with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as well as her and the baby’s well-being.
