Jana Kramer and Kristin Cavallari may be good friends, but that could be about to change, as Jana was spotted on a date with none other than Kristin’s ex-husband Jay Cutler.

This would be a massive turn of events for several reasons. First of all, Kristin was instrumental in helping Jana get through her divorce from Mike Caussin.
Not only did Kristin connect her with a good divorce lawyer, but she was there for Jana to aid her transition into a single mother. But this has now been a form of betrayal, and Kristin has responded by cutting ties with her.
A source said: “She wouldn’t have blocked her [Jana] if she wasn’t good friends with her. Jana is the complete opposite of Jay’s ideal girl.”
But for all the talk, how serious is it? Well, Kristin does not believe that Jay has Jana’s best interests at heart. This is because the news about their date was only leaked when it was confirmed that Kristin was hooking up with singer, Chase Rice.
Therefore, in order to not feel inferior, Jay decided to get with Jana. An insider remarked: “Jay was trying to make Kristin jealous, but Kristin has told friends it isn’t going to work. It’s not a coincidence that Jay decided to go public with Jana right after news broke that Kristin and Chase Rice are dating.”
Despite the apparent anger that Kristin is feeling, the writing is already on the wall. Jana is completely different to the type of person that Jay would usually be interested in. After all, she is very open with her fans about all aspects of her personal life. This is in contrast to Jay, who likes to keep a low profile.
The following comments confirmed as much: “She puts her kids on social media and shares a lot of her personal life with her fans — she’s just not the typical girl Jay would date.”
Time will tell what happens between Jana and Jay, but one thing we know for sure is that Kristin and Jana’s ‘friendship’ is likely to be over for good.
