‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) looks like he’s enjoying the idea of being a father and bringing a child into the world. I think he would be a good father as well, and it looks good on him. However, this brings into question the theory that Devon will get together with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
While it seemed like a long shot, things seem to keep falling into place for the two of them to end up together. It seems Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will never return at this point, Devon is the baby’s biological father, he’s now delivered the baby and he’s contemplating being a father in the hospital.

It definitely looks like Devon is contemplating his life as a potential father and he even spoke to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about what he and Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) could have had. He’s feeling very nostalgic about it and definitely wants to take on that role.
I think we’re very close to seeing Devon and Abby get together. It will start out as “co-parenting” or something where both of them are taking care of the child, but over time there will be some kind of connection that blossoms beyond the child and we’ll see Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) get hurt. However, the baby will have the biological parents in his life, together.
I also don’t think it’d be a big deal for everyone else in Genoa City, as they could see the reasoning behind the two of them getting together. While it may have started out a little fishy, it does look like there’s a very real possibility of this happening and I think the writers already had it in mind when they made Devon the donor. They knew Chance wasn’t coming back and wanted to set up a potential future family.
