Jay Cutler has admitted he has found it hard to get back into the dating scene ever since his split from Kristin Cavallari.
Jay Cutler Is Struggling To Find A New Woman-‘Meeting People Is Hard’
The pair had been married for seven years since they tied the knot in 2013. During this time, they managed to raise three children together: Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.
It is only natural for things to feel strange for Jay, given that he had gotten so used to being with someone. And now that he has children in his life, finding a perfect partner who is willing to accept kids has made things more difficult.
In an appearance on his ‘Uncut With Jay Cutler’ podcast, Jay said: “Meeting people is hard. I think finding out what people really want from you; I think that’s probably an issue. I’m at a different phase of my life now with kids. Priorities have changed.”
In addition, things have not been made any easier by the pandemic. The dating scene has taken a huge hit, as traditional meeting places such as bars have been shut down or heavily regulated, which has detracted Jay from going down that route.
And the alternative, that being the online world, is not something that Jay has managed to get a grapple on. He added: “The whole landscape has changed. There are apps. There’s Twitter. There’s Instagram. It’s a whole different ball game. You’re not just walking into a restaurant or bar and talking to somebody. That doesn’t exist anymore.” That is why he has poured his energy into co-parenting to show his children that he will still be there for them.
And thanks to the role that Kristin has played, they have managed to have family days together despite their differences. In a prior interview with Us Weekly, Kristin remarked: “Spending the first Thanksgiving together [after our split] is important. It’s what’s best for the kids, and we’re able to do that…and I’m really thankful for that.” Jay has a lot to offer. There is still plenty of time for him to find someone to settle down with, and we wish him the best with things going forward.
