Jay Cutler has opened up on how he and his ex Kristin Cavallari have managed to put their kids first amid their ongoing divorce.

The couple decided to split after seven years of marriage but have managed to work things out by co-parenting successfully. While there have been some upheavals caused by the financial consequences of the divorce, the kids have managed to stay on the right track. In an interview with E! News, Jay praised his children in response to the divorce.
He said: “Kids are resilient. With school and all the activities, we’ve done a good job of putting them first.” With Father’s day coming up, Jay and Kristin have already started making plans. During the previous corresponding Mother’s Day, Jay had met up with Kristin and the kids to have some food. Happy Mother’s Day.” This togetherness has been caused by the couple’s desire to put on some unity, despite them living apart. Kristin knows what it is like to see parents going through a divorce, and that experience has taught her to never hurt her kids by bashing Jay.
Jay has been receptive to that and has given an insight into what we can expect this Father’s Day. He added: “Sometimes they want to make breakfast for you in bed, but it’s 6 a.m…all you hear is…yelling and screaming. Then once you’re through the morning rush, they tend to forget it’s Mother’s Day or Father’s Day… so it’s gonna be fun.”
Although they are wanting to show things are all well, their divorce is being held up by Jay’s insistence on taking half of Kristin’s company ‘Unfounded James.’
Kristin has maintained that she put up all the funding, which means Jay should not be entitled to any share, but the latter has stressed his role in working to launch the company. This is undoubtedly going to spoil the upcoming Father’s Day. The duo will have to put aside their differences if they are to give their kids a day to remember.
